Ok. Sony Ericsson High-end King of Walkman Phones W995 Nice try. This “version” seems to run some kind of Samsung’s TouchWIZ user interface. Gosh! They wont even leave Samsung out Funny.

Next in line is- OMG, what is this? A SonyEricsson-Noxia Xpressmusic clone? :O

The phones have everything you want. Bluetooth, micro SD, decent if not such high profile cameras But if you are caught in a copyright infringement case, Please don’t  name us. We have not done anything to instigate you

Though categorised as a Walkman phone, the camera is a major selling point. The Phones 4u salesman says: ‘It’s a Walkman handset but they’re promoting the camera strongly – it’s good that it’s a bit of both.’ The 3 salesman says: ‘The photography aspect is great, the phone even looks like a camera.’ The O2 salesman says: ‘It’s the smallest eight-megapixel camera phone available.’ However, the Carphone salesman points out a possible drawback: ‘The pictures look great on a computer but not on the screen – it is too small.’

Looks wise, the phone draws praise from the panel. The Carphone salesman says: ‘I really like the silver version.’ The 3 salesman says: ‘It’s got a small and dinky look to it.’ The O2 salesman says: ‘Sometimes, Sony Ericsson handsets can feel a bit plastic, but this is really solid.’ The Phones 4u salesman is the least enthused: ‘It looks similar to other Sony Ericsson phones, they’ve just changed the colours.’

The phone’s usability impresses some of the panel. The Phones 4u salesman says: ‘It’s very simple and very easy.’ The O2 salesman agrees, and adds: ‘They’ve done away with the tab setting and the navigation of the phone is much simpler.’

Overall, the multimedia functions on the W995 leave a lasting impression. The 3 salesman says: ‘It’s a brilliant camera and music handset.’ The Phones 4u salesman thinks ‘the sound quality is amazing’, and the Carphone salesman says: ‘It’s a media phone that is perfect for the youth market.’ The O2 salesman exclaims: ‘If I wasn’t selling someone an iPhone, I’d sell them this.’

Just to remind you, W995 has an 8.1 MP camera with autofocus function. The phone has 118 MB built-in memory plus 8 GB M2™ card in the box. One of the good features of W995 is its large 2,6″ QVGA scratch-resistant TFT screen, which support up 262,144 colours.

Today the ultimate walkman phone from Sony Ericsson has been launched.

Today, on the 25th of May, finally was launched the new Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman. During next couple of weeks W995 should be available in all big mobile stores of Europe. W995 Walkman was announced on the 15th of February 2009. W995 is high-end slider phone and it is Walkmanflagship for 2009 year. The phone has 240×320 pixels screen, 8.1 Megapixel camera, build-in stereo speakers. Plus it has a special kickstand on the back of the phone, three dedicated music control keys on the right side and, of course, one of the main features of W995 is 3.5-mm jack, which is located on the top of the phone. Tom Dunmore, Editor-in-Chief of Stuff Magazine talks about the various glitz and glamour of the soon to be released Sony Ericsson Walkman W995.
