With a wire-free design meant for audio fans who want a simple and headphone only MP3 player to 
use on the go, the new Sony mp3 Player, the ultra portable W series is compact and lightweight (35g) and fits comfortably behind the head, so users can get active without getting tangled. It is available in five colors; black, white, pink, violet and lime and features 2GB of storage.
The design doesn’t allow for a display so Sony’s unique new ‘Zappin’ function is incorporated. By simply clicking the Jog Dial operation on the inside earpiece, the ‘Zappin’ mode helps users find tunes easily.

Sony Ericsson today successfully launched it’s new low-end slider phone W205 Walkman™, which was announced on 7th of April 2009. W205 is compact slider phone and it has all must-have features like 1.8″ 128×160 pixels screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, Walkman™ player and Memory Stick Micro™ M2™ support (up to 2GB). The phone will be available in the shops in selected markets in two pretty nice colours: Ambient Black and Creamy White.
Sony is introducing the world’s first digital noise cancelling canal earphone, the MDR-NC300D, later this month. Boasting 98.4% noise reduction, an integrated S-Master amplifier, this sure is an interesting step for the company who has led the way for portable noise canceling. The build quality of this setup is outstanding, and Sony has included six different rubber ear tips for you to choose from for the perfect fit. The earbuds feature a 16mm diameter driver, and three separate modes of noise canceling – Mode A for aircraft, Mode B for train/bus, and Mode C for Office/Study Room to reduce light chatter and air conditioning noise. Friendly Fires will play a completely unique gig at a secret London venue on June 15th. Titled Sony Ericsson Pitch Black the gig will take place in complete darkness with the band treating an effectively blind audience of 200 to a music experience like no other. According to SEMC, Sony Ericsson Bluetooth™ Headset VH310 prepares its way for its first day in the market. The new accessory will be compact stereo headset with nice design and small weight. Remember, VH300? Well, looks like this new accessory will be an update. Too soon, ain’t it?
The new latest Bluetooth 3.0 version will reportedly feature “dramatically increased speeds, allowing for the transfer of large video files, music collections and photo libraries wirelessly within seconds.” BT 3.0 should also include a newfangled ability called Enhanced Power Control (EPC), which will supposedly “reduce the occurrence of disconnects that can be caused by actions such as putting a phone in a pocket, backpack, letter case or purse.” Today we get a bootload of lists and chip makers that are lined to support this new version.
Today, on April 21, the Bluetooth SIG will officially announce Bluetooth 3.0 – it’s Bluetooth, faster, via 802.11. The speed of Bluetooth 3.0 will expand home entertainment and CE use cases in these under-penetrated markets. 
Transferring an entire music library, a complete DVD, a vacation’s worth of photos, all within seconds at the touch of a button and wirelessly will now be possible. And while speed is the coolest part of 3.0, there’s also good news for the headset and handset crowds – a new feature called Enhanced Power Control reduces the incidence or disconnects caused by movement such as placing a phone in a pocket or purse.
