It is available in five colors; black, white, pink, violet and lime and features 2GB of storage.

The design doesn’t allow for a display so Sony’s unique new ‘Zappin’ function is incorporated. By simply clicking the Jog Dial operation on the inside earpiece, the ‘Zappin’ mode helps users find tunes easily.

Sony Ericsson today successfully launched it’s new low-end slider phone W205 Walkman™, which was announced on 7th of April 2009. W205 is compact slider phone and it has all must-have features like 1.8″ 128×160 pixels screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, Walkman™ player and Memory Stick Micro™ M2™ support (up to 2GB). The new latest Bluetooth 3.0 version will reportedly feature “dramatically increased speeds, allowing for the transfer of large video files, music collections and photo libraries wirelessly within seconds.” BT 3.0 should also include a newfangled ability called Enhanced Power Control (EPC), which will supposedly “reduce the occurrence of disconnects that can be caused by actions such as putting a phone in a pocket, backpack, letter case or purse.” Today we get a bootload of lists and chip makers that are lined to support this new version.
Today, on April 21, the Bluetooth SIG will officially announce Bluetooth 3.0 – it’s Bluetooth, faster, via 802.11. The speed of Bluetooth 3.0 will expand home entertainment and CE use cases in these under-penetrated markets. Transferring an entire music library, a complete DVD, a vacation’s worth of photos, all within seconds at the touch of a button and wirelessly will now be possible. And while speed is the coolest part of 3.0, there’s also good news for the headset and handset crowds – a new feature called Enhanced Power Control reduces the incidence or disconnects caused by movement such as placing a phone in a pocket or purse.
