Sony Ericsson Entertainment Unlimited Phones Aino and Satio get firmware upgrades making them less buggy and more effiicient and user-friendly. As we know, the two phones were going headlong down all thanks to Aino’s buggy touchscreen and Satio’s irredeemable software bugs.
Sony Ericsson, in a bid to save the phones from swooshing down the alleys, has gone a step further and upgraded the firmwares. The new firmware for Aino™, version – R7AA071 is already available for updating in SEUS.
If you are one of those who hated listening to the price tag of Sony Ericsson Satio shaking your head in disagreement over its disadvantages and undeserving functions, then don’t bother reading this post. And if you are planning to buy or have bought the model or are interested in spending some good amount over a phone from the Sony Ericsson Camp of equal calibre, please read on…
Satio, apparently is or hasn’t been designed in solitude. It had company. Yes. A sequel. Well, interestingly, the photo that we have may not conform to any prior rumours or truth, but as promise, we must bring out the scoop
Named Kurara, the Satio sequel will probably be a device based on the Symbian S60 platform.
WMExperts poated a really cool video on Xperia X2 and its various functionalities-
The successor to the Xperia X1,the X2 will run Windows Mobile 6.5, bringing new features such as Flash support in Internet Explorer Mobile and Microsoft’s app store, and the Windows Marketplace for Mobile. Sony Ericsson has also added something called the SlideView feature that notifies users to missed calls or new messages and provides quick access to them.
The Xperia panel interface is still there with 14 panels preloaded on the smartphone and 16 others available for download, including those for Skype, CNN, and Google. You also get a 3.2-inch WVGA touch screen, a full QWERTY keyboard, an 8.1-megapixel camera, and TV out capabilities.
We got leaks from Soy Ericsson’s moderate phone, Susan that sports totally new icons (perhaps keeping in mind the A2 platform phones of the company) both at the top and bottom of the screen.

Ericsson rolling out mobile app store without Sony Ericsson extending managed services portfolio to application retailing
Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) may not sell any phones, develop any mobile operating systems or develop any consumer applications, but that hasn’t stopped it from creating its own mobile application store. No, it’s not Sony Ericsson’s soon-to-be-launched app store; rather Ericsson has created a hosted app store that allows operators to tap into the hot new retailing craze without starting from scratch.
Ida La Spisa, head of Ericsson’s service delivery platform solutions, said carriers are certainly no strangers to retailing mobile applications—every operator with a data network has had some form of content storefront up since the advent of mobile data networks. But the launch of the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iTunes App Store last year put those browser-based portals to shame, showing the wireless world that a feature-rich, developer-friendly and highly integrated store could generate enormous amounts of traffic.
