Hey Guys? Remember the officials said that we may expect that a new playstation phone will be released probably late december?? Christmas time, in particular?.. Looking at the fact that so far only recently released Sony Ericsson Aino is the playstation replacement with its mighty gaming functions, it seems that this phone will see light in late december.. that tallies with the fact that it wont be out before October!
BUT.. yea here’s a BIG BUT! Our Partner in Crime, se-blogger, claims that it shall be launched on 28th September, 2009!!
Amazing, aint it? .. Alongwith it, its been claimed Satio and Yari too will see your eager faces at the markets

Sony Ericsson cites the large number of handsets in its catalogue so far, most of which have not been properly promoted and advertised, as one of the main reasons of its failure. Talking to TechRadar, Dave Hilton, marketing director for Sony Ericsson UK and Ireland, said that concentrating on setting up a smaller portfolio while maintaining the innovation will be the next major move towards a better figure in the finance stats.
The proprietor believes that the showcased Satio, Yari and Aino will make repair the holes inside the decks of the sinking Titanic:
“That means fewer products, which in turn helps lower costs but still means we can offer new and innovative propositions to help maintain our strong market share.”
And for all those who are expecting the release of PSP Phone, here’s bad news. Its so far, not in the recent agenda of Sony Ericsson!!
“We’ve brought a better gaming experience to mobiles, and [I don't think] we need the PlayStation brand for that. It’s something we’re looking to step away from today [using sub-brands] as when you’re looking at the higher end of the market consumers want it all: good gaming, video, music etc. With a sub brand, you’re kind of putting a limit [on the phone].”

Ericsson’s Aino maybe the next in store from the proprietors. From what we heardd, Aino has a 3.0″ 240×432 pixels TFT touchscreen, which supports up to 16,777,216 colors. Sony Ericsson Aino has only, unfortunately, a 55 MB of internal memory, but it supports SanDisk microSD™ cards. 8GB SanDisk microSD™ card will be included to the box of the phone.
Aino has 8.1 megapixel camera with photo flash and with autofocus.
When you see Aino, The first time it looks more like a stick phone with large screen and without keys. But first impressions of this device are wrong. Aino is not a stick smartphone, it is a mobile phone, which has many interesting features like touchscreen. It’s the first time when we will see a touchscreen on a mobile phone from Sony Ericsson.
Sony Ericsson Aino has full PlayStation3 compatibility. The new Aino has a real Sony Style look and it is looking like a real PlayStation Portable device. Aino will be available in two nice colours: Obsidian Black and Luminous White. To the box of Aino will be included design-matched Charging Stand EC100 and Wireless Stereo Headphone MH100, which has the same colour variations like Aino. Sony Ericsson Aino and Wireless Stereo Headphone MH100 is a good tandem.
