Sony Ericsson Reports Q3 Results

Sony Ericsson continued their dismal performance, carrying from Q2,2008 to the next quarter, with estimated losses of more than 33mn Euros.This however includes the 35mn reconstruction charges. Sony Ericsson have been losing market share and their phones have been continually scrutinized for ungainly performance, as a result of which the markets have shown instability and thus the loss. SE predicts that they will be up and running through profitable terms by Q2 2009.

* First Xperia™ branded multimedia phone X1 began shipping
