Comverse just announced that it will assist propreitors Sony Ericsson in the manufacture of visual voicemail on its handsets for residential and business users.

Visual voicemail is an enhancement of the traditional voicemail and is quite an user-friendly and popular mailing system. The voicemail is received by the user in the regular inbox. “Visual voicemail’s success comes from providing users a richer array of capabilities and choice,” said Bunyan.
