Sony Ericsson enthusiasts in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) are in for a real treat with the MINE campaign launched recently in the region.
The MINE campaign, which ends on the 30th of August, is targeted on individuals who are vibrant, ambitious, and creative with a passion for art. ‘Through our campaign we are giving the youth an opportunity to stand out. They can design their own W508 cover and submit them online through www.sonyericsson.com/MINE. We welcome all to be part of this campaign’ said Mr. Mohamad Salama, Head of Marketing, Sony Ericsson, MENA.
Consumers all over the Middle East can design or vote for the best design. Fans will vote for 15-20 participants to compete before a panel of judges from Sony Ericsson, who will choose the eventual winner.
‘In order to encourage more participation and as an appreciation for those who have taken part, the mega prize will include a trip to one of the exotic Arabian destinations. The first runner-up will take home fabulous gifts from Sony Ericsson.’
Mr. Salama added.
Further, the participants will also be entitled to enter the global competition, where the best design will go into mass production.In short, if you win the worldwide competition, your design will be in everyone’s pocket. In addition to this, all designs will be made available online for you to buy.
Mr. Salama explained: ‘Combine colors, add symbols or patterns, type in a text or even put your own image on the stylus cover! MINE is the real deal to distinguish yourself. We are looking forward to receiving a lot of creative designs and it will be a challenge for us to pick only one winner!’
