Since we were unable to post for quite some time, hence we extend our apologies. A good number of changes occurred in the last few months. Here’s a small compilation of the most important things that happened .

  • Phones those Got Introduced in the Sony Ericsson Family-

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, SE’s flagship phone, sports a huge 4 inch capacitive AMOLED screen( 480 x 854 pixels) , an 8 MP camera with flash (3264×2448 pixels), autofocus, strong LED flash with touch focus, image stabilization, geo-tagging, face and smile detection.

Connectivity includes GPRS, EDGE,3G, Wi-Fi (802.11b) Bluetooth (v2.1 with A2DP) and v2.0 microUSB. It comes with internal memory of 1 GB storage, 384 MB RAM and extendable up to 32GB (8GB card included). It doesn’t have radio included but A-GPS is supported.

Considering the steep drop of sales of its top-slot phones such as Xperia X10, X2, Aino and Satio, Sony Ericsson is bringing in the human touch to its newest scheme. Year 2010 will see the arrival of a new phone from the propreitors, which you have heard before as Kurara, now curiously re-named Vivaz, which features a “human curvature” design.It is basically a touchscreen 3G cell phone that captures high-definition 720p video, and also snaps photos with an 8.1-megapixel camera that includes face detection and geo-tagging.

It runs Symbian S60. Among its other top-slot features are a TV-out for displaying video on an HDTV, YouTube compatibility, aGPS, and Wi-Fi. It measures 4.2 by 2.0 by 0.5 inches (HWD) and weighs just 3.4 ounces, and also includes a 360×640-pixel 16:9 touch screen.

DailyiPhoneBlog posted some nice pics of the new Sony Ericsson Faith that runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 and belongs to the company’s Greenheart series.

Apart from that, it includes Micro Sd Card slot, a 2.4” QVGA touch screen. You have a Qwerty keypad which makes things easier. The phone is pretty sleek although it looks strikingly similar to Nokia E series!

sony-ericsson-ainoMajor software problems have apparently hit the latest gaming phone, a PSP substitute from Sony Ericsson, Aino. A large number of UK customers have reported problems regarding touchscreen interface of the model. SE has admitted “issues” regarding the phone. This comes just few days after its another much hyped high-end handset Satio was pulled off from the markets after high returns at Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4u saw both retailers halt Satio sales.

“Aino has sold in limited numbers in the UK, so this issue affects only a very small number of customers,” says a Sony Ericsson representative.

Aino and Satio are Sony Ericsson’s key products for the final quarter,” said analyst Geoff Blaber from British consultancy CCS Insight.
