With losses worth €283 million (£243 million) in Q2 this year, with nearly every element of the financial report showing negative growth, Sony Ericsson has every reason to worry!! Even Satio, Aino or Yari don’t seem to be putting much hope for the company in this perilous hour.
The company has lost €213 million (£183 million) in net income in Q2 2009, compared to a profit of €6 million (£5.15 million) for the same period last year.
The bad news is that restructuring charges actually dropped 10m in the last 12 months, which is usually the reason companies give for losing such a large wedge of cash.

The number of phones shipped in Q2 2009 ended up at 13.8 million, well down from 24.4 million in the same period last year,
