Sony Ericsson X10 Confirmed??
Apparently, Rachael will make an official statement very soon, as per inside scoops. Youtube just loaded a a brochure for the phone.. that is yet to see the market light. Sony Ericsson’s new super mobile got a 12 mp camera with a real flash, touchscreen and according to Sony Ericsson be better then the other competitive brand in every way. The screen is in the same size as Iphone. The menu system is completely new, It should be possible to sync the phone with tv, stereo and playstation. Idou will be Sony Ericssons first Iphone challenger. The menu system is based on new Symbian and a co-operate with Nokia. Some details is recognized form the nokia 60 Series.

The new system looks really good, its buildt on three tabs on top, the first tab shows who you calls the most, the second is the standby and contains shortcuts to the main menu, media menu, messages and search. the third contains images that shows up on full screen.

The camera got 12 megapixels and a real flash. Idou does also have turbo-3G, Wlan and GPS, the screen-size got 640×380 pixels resolution and the screen is 3,5 inches big.

When will it be released?
We are not telling more then the end of second half of 2009. But we will reveal more in may , says Todd Culos at Sony Ericsson.

Developers recognised for creativity, usability and performance of their mobile content

Stockholm, Sweden –February 9, 2009 — Continuing its commitment to the third-party mobile content development community, Sony Ericsson today revealed the winners of the second annual Content Awards competition. In an online ceremony hosted on the Sony Ericsson Content Awards Web site, Sony Ericsson announced the category winners, including a surprise special recognition award.

Sony Ericsson S001 Cyber Shot phone exclusive for japan

So who has the best Cyber-shot camera phone? Well apparently Japan as KDDI has signed an exclusive deal with Sony Ericsson for the Sony Ericsson S001 Cyber-shot handset which will only be available in Japan.

The Sony Ericsson S001 Cyber-shot is a slider that packs a 3.3 inch WVGA OLED display along with a whopping 8.1 megapixel camera with auto-focus, protective lens cover, flash and smile shutter.

Other features with the Sony Ericsson S001 Cyber-shot handset include 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, but no WiFi, but is available in pink, green or black, just a shame it’s not coming westward.

The Sony Ericsson S001 is available in black, pink and green with gold trims.
